How to secure your bulk pork share and fill your freezer!
A Few Things To Know
We love giving you the option to customize your pork share, but there are a couple of things to keep in mind:
Sausage Isn’t Always Guaranteed
Sausage is made from trim, and if you opt for every available cut, there may not be enough trim left to make sausage. Most butchers require at least 10 lbs of trim, and leaner hogs naturally have less to work with.
Bacon Comes with Options
Bacon comes from the belly, and if the hog is too lean, slicing it into bacon may not be feasible. In that case, you’ll receive the belly whole—giving you the freedom to slice it just how you like at home!
