Not complicated.

Not rushed.

Here is your cozy, snowed-in chicken dinner using one of our staples.

Creamy Garlic Herb Chicken Thighs

Rich. Simple. Deeply comforting.

This is a one-pan dinner that feels special but takes very little effort. Perfect for snow days.

What You’ll Need

Side dish inspiration: mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty sourdough

How To Make It

  1. Heat butter or chicken fat in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat.

  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Brown both sides. Remove and set aside.

  3. Add onion and garlic to the pan. Sauté until soft and fragrant.

  4. Pour in broth. Scrape up the browned bits.

  5. Stir in cream, thyme, and rosemary.

  6. Add chicken back in. Cover and simmer on low for 25 to 35 minutes until tender.

  7. Taste and adjust seasoning.

  8. Sprinkle with parsley if using.

  9. Serve hot. Preferably while the snow is falling.
